Les auteurs du rapport d\u00e9clarent qu’il n’y a pas de conflit d’int\u00e9r\u00eats et la patiente elle-m\u00eame a donn\u00e9 son accord pour publier les r\u00e9sultats de l’\u00e9tude.<\/p>\n

En novembre 2015, la femme de 44 ans a \u00e9t\u00e9 admise \u00e0 l’h\u00f4pital universitaire avec des plaintes de vertiges et de maux de t\u00eate. Une IRM (r\u00e9sonance magn\u00e9tique nucl\u00e9aire) a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e, qui a \u00e9tabli des m\u00e9tastases c\u00e9r\u00e9brales, et une CAT (tomodensitom\u00e9trie) de la poitrine, qui a montr\u00e9 un carcinome pulmonaire – le foyer principal. Une th\u00e9rapie cibl\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 instaur\u00e9e. La maladie a \u00e9t\u00e9 bien contr\u00f4l\u00e9e jusqu’en juillet 2017, et en septembre, elle a progress\u00e9. Un changement dans la th\u00e9rapie cibl\u00e9e de la patiente a suivi, et elle s’est stabilis\u00e9e jusqu’en mars 2018, date \u00e0 laquelle la maladie a de nouveau progress\u00e9 et l’\u00e9tat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la patiente s’est aggrav\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Un nouveau scanner thoracique a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9, \u00e0 partir duquel un \u00e9largissement du foyer primaire dans le poumon droit, l’apparition de nouvelles m\u00e9tastases pulmonaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9s, et l’IRM r\u00e9alis\u00e9e a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 davantage de m\u00e9tastases et leurs complications – accumulation de liquide c\u00e9phalo-rachidien dans le ventricules (cavit\u00e9s du cerveau).<\/p>\n

\u00c0 partir d’avril 2018, comme seul traitement, le patient a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 faire des inhalations avec de l’hydrog\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s quatre mois de traitement, la plupart des m\u00e9tastases c\u00e9r\u00e9brales ont \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9es<\/strong> et la quantit\u00e9 de liquide c\u00e9phalo-rachidien dans les cavit\u00e9s c\u00e9r\u00e9brales (troisi\u00e8me ventricule et ventricules lat\u00e9raux) a \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9rablement r\u00e9duite.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s un an de traitement, les m\u00e9tastases c\u00e9r\u00e9brales ont \u00e9t\u00e9 effac\u00e9es<\/strong>, le patient se sentait bien et n’arr\u00eatait pas de faire des inhalations d’hydrog\u00e8ne pendant 3 \u00e0 5 heures par jour.
